Mt. Peevine

I always wondered who those questionable people were who were out there in the wilderness shooting. Well, today it was me with a couple of very good friends. We drove up to Mt. Peevine that is very barren and belongs to the National Forest Service (although there is no forest) and it is allowed to do target practice where you cannot hurt or hit anybody.
I had always wondered how it would feel to have a revolver in your hand and how the sound would be when you shoot. Well, it was all different from what I had thought, it was actually fun and interesting, even if I had only 4 hits and 11 misses...
My friends are around 70, he is an avid hunter and taught the the two of us how to carefully handle a gun. I wish everybody who owns a gun would have such a good teacher.
