Stonechat Nesting
The temptation to blip another red kite today was driven away by the image of so many eyes rolling - shame really, as I think I got the best shot of a kite so far - ah, well :)
Tomorrow there will definitely (probably) be something different as I will be going somewhere where I think there are some unusual wildlife.
I'm almost sure I saw a swallow today - I'll check and try and get a shot when I can.
So here is a shot of a stonechat, collecting materials for its nest, always an encouraging sight.
The stonechat gets its name from the sound of its call, which sounds like two pebbles being knocked together.
I hope your Thursday is a good one, with great weather!
