Gingerbottomed Bumblebee

A bumblebee is "eine Hummel" in German (Hummeln in the plural*) which I think is a rather pretty name.

Tiring day.

I had a weird dream last night where I dreamed I had slept in and I was going to miss a really important meeting. Caused lots of angst (another German word for you, die Angst if wanted to take notes) and eventually I woke up in quite an unhappy state. Sadly it was 3 in the morning and I couldn't get properly back to sleep.

And then a problem solving and problem avoiding day at work followed by my German lesson.

My lesson was interesting. I had seen that there were reports about the Uli Hoeneß tax evasion case and I thought it would be interesting to read about the trial and get more of an idea of reading about actual events.

And it was really interesting. I'll spare you the details.

He was sentenced to 3 and a half years. Pending an appeal, naturally.

* quite a lot of German words end with "eln", I find it really difficult to pronounce. Can't think of any English words that have that as an ending.
