Backblip

The problem with back blipping is I can hardly remember what I was doing yesterday never mind almost a week ago!

What I do remember is how grin-inducingly proud I was when Alan came home from school with his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. Honestly, that school is just amazing. All the young folk in Alan’s class have worked so hard to gain their certificate and it’s only possible because of the sheer hard work, determination and belief the staff have in all the children.

I asked Alan if he was proud of himself and got a huge smile and resounding yes. I asked if I could give him a celebratory kiss and he said no.

I stole one anyway. Mother’s prerogative.
