. . . but not here in Dubai!!!

Went to Dubai Mall today after an unbelievably awful day in the office. What a relief it is the weekend. Got some goodies from Virgin (spent my Secret Santa gift voucher) and then headed off to get something to eat. G wanted TGIF as it overlooks the fountain but they had a queue to get in, so we went into this restaurant which is right next door. Apparently it's been there two years so we would have walked past it before but I never registered it!

Brandi advertise themselves as being the makers of the Pizza Magherita - way back in the 1780s in Napoli. How about that? We had to of course, try their signature pizza. Very nice too. The restaurant felt wonderfully spacious, had a very relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful wood fire oven.

Glad to be home before 9 after a small incident of dropping a (glass) bottle of water in the luggage store where we were looking at a small bag wondering what you could put in it. Make up of course! (!!!) I'm probably not making a great deal of sense so will go to bed and look forward to tomorrow! Hope you've had a good day! :))
