Dérive

The Mirror has two faces

St Ives Estate. Bingley. W. Yorks. UK.

I posted a similar image to this about a month ago from the Lake District - I'm very enthusiastic about optical illusions, distortions, perceptual anomalies and the like.
I think photographs are often very satisfying using this type of subject matter.

The reason I think, is to do with the fact that the 'reality' of the photograph is an illusion in itself so a further step dispenses with the pretence and we feel more comfortable. (At least that's the theory I'm working on!)

Is this complete rubbish or what?
