Trossachs Kirk and Ben A'n

The weather man was right again. After 3 days of fine sunshine it was back to grey and cloud today. It was however dry and mild for a walk in Achray Forest. Trossachs Kirk has a beautiful setting on the edge of Loch Achray and above it is Ben A'n its distinctive peak visible from various parts of the walk. Although a mere bump compared to the surrounding hills, the views of Loch Katrine and the Trossachs from its rocky summit are superb. It is some time since I made the short steep climb to the top so I must note it as a destination for later this summer.
