Bergenia..

..or Elephants ears. Large leaved plants that flowers early in spring. A sort of tatty looking plant, but a welcome splash of colour. (And yes Sis, picture taken in your garden!).

It is drying up on the croft, but still far to wet for cultivating and planting. So it's back to the greenhouse, and tunnel, and sowing, and pricking out, and potting up.. Now have over 200 cabbage plants, plus about the same of other brasicas..

Been down to the school for chess, and camera club tonight..

Not as bright today, but didn't get the rain I was expecting..
