Sunbird on Spiny Aspalathus
Had a great walk this morning around the jagged crags at Silvermine Nature Reserve. Photographed a few new flowers, lizards and butterflies, but I thought it was time I posted a bird shot. I was lucky when I was standing by this bush waiting for butterflies to come nearer - two sunbirds suddenly swooped in and I managed to get a couple of shots. I think the shrub is Aspalathus barbata, one of the many pea family species found in the Fynbos.
