Evening At The Park

It seemed like everyone in Bellingham was enjoying the evening and the sunset at Boulevard Park tonight. It was the perfect end to a pretty nice day.

Before I got the park I visited fellow blipper Mary Jo and we found the cutest squirrel where she works. As you might well suspect, I had a bag of peanuts in the car. He was delighted and very friendly, although he was moving pretty fast. I don't know if he sat still long enough for her to get a picture or not. If she did get one, I hope she blipped it.

This weekend is the annual Wings Over Water (WOW) festival out in Birch Bay, which is a perfect opportunity to get some great migratory bird shots, so we may venture out and see what we can find. Last year Mary Jo got a wonderful picture of a Great Blue Heron and I got a really nice cormorant blip. I hope we can get lucky again.
