An Old Tool

My son-in-law was helping me with laying some flooring and he went home and commented that I was using this old tool that came out of the ark. I like the floor cramp, even if it appears (and possibly does) come from a bygone era, I think it still has a lot of years left in it yet.

For those who have never come across a device like this before, it is used when laying floorboards to ensure they all are tightly pushed together.
