The Clones are coming!
Actually no Clanger has not cloned himself and I have not copied & pasted or layered multi shots, this is actually a single shot (of exposure time about 52 seconds taken of Clanger in three separate positions. I took the shot in low light with low settings on my camera so it would not pick up a lot of light I then shone a light on Clanger for about 10+ seconds and then moved him, shone the light on him again for another 10+ seconds and repeated for a third time. I experimented with quite a few shots before getting this one, if Clanger was overlapping himself then he looked transparent (you can see this on the leftmost Clanger's hand overlapping the middle Clanger). The same occurred when I used a light coloured base as you can see from this attempt. I did do a bit of post-processing to the brightness and contrast just to darken the background a bit but nothing more than that, I could have easily have done this in 3 separate shots and merged them but that wasn't the point of the exercise.
