Rio de Janeiro Bay

Today we visited Christ the Redeemer and to be honest, I was far more impressed with the view than the big guy himself! It was definitely cool being there, and one to tick off the bucket list, but I am extremely happy we got there early! By the time we left there was easily the biggest line I have ever seen, and we heard later on it was a three hour wait to get up to the top - no thank you!

Carla told us about the history of Rio de Janeiro, and took us to a couple of other notable sights before returning us to our hotel for more relaxing! We indulged in some of Copacabana's fresh juices (Amazing!), had a nap, swam in the pool and generally enjoyed the 'holiday' part of our trip.
