Cultural Norms

I had cultural training a few years ago when working with a supplier based in India. It was very interesting and helpful and the Indian team also had training to understand is better.

I don't think either course included any training around toilet usage!! I think we were missing a trick and the company I now work for seems to have this sign in every toilet.

Today has been a bitter sweet day. Drove over to see my folks after work. Mum had a bad day - wasn't even able to communicate for much of the day. Pops was very upset. Luckily for me she rallied around the time I got there and the 3 of us had a lovely evening. Sitting in parents room chatting and eating spotted dick and custard of all things. I felt very lucky that I got a precious few hours with her when she was feeling a bit more human.

Took dinner with me so Pops didn't have to cook and me and him had some nice time together as well. It is getting very hard to leave each time but don't want to tire them both out.
