The Paper Dolls

Orla has a book by Julia Donaldson called Paper Dolls. It's a lovely book, about a little girl whose mum makes her a string of paper dolls, then when she grows up she does the same for her own little girl.

Orla had Larissa round for a play-date today. They had a great time together. Orla brought me this book and asked me to read it to them, and then to make them paper dolls. Originally each chain had six dolls in it, but Conor ripped Orla's. She was devastated. However, I managed to persuade her to colour in her four. She was heavily inspired by the book, and her dolls are (l-r): Daisy, Hairy, Back and Sill. Larissa decorated hers as the Scooby gang, complete with monster :)
