Sleepy girly xxxx

I really didn't want to send Eva to nursery this morning, so I was so relieved when my mom offered yesterday to come round at 8.30 this morning so I could go to an appointment I already had booked in. Eva was still fast asleep when Nanny arrived, so I gently woke her so I could give her her medicine and get her washed, but kept her in her babygrow, then brought her downstairs so my mom could give her some breakfast, while I went off to my appointment.

I thought I would have been back by 12 so my mom could go to her doctors appointment, but I was still at the customer's, so I rang home and Peter walked round to babysit so my mom could get off. I finally got home at 1.30pm. Eva had literally just fallen asleep on her Grandad's lap with her snuggle bear and num nums. I went to carry her up to her bed, but she woke up and was so upset as she was so so tired. She usually goes down for her sleep around 12, but just wouldn't settle for my mom or stepdad. It was around 2pm when she finally went to sleep and I ended up going in to wake her again at 4.30pm! I felt awful waking her again, but she'd barely eaten all day, she needed her antibiotics and she would struggle to sleep tonight if she stayed asleep much longer.

I did Eva some shepherds pie for lunch (lunch? It was now nearly 5pm), but she had maybe 4 spoonfuls. She ate a whole yoghurt, but wouldn't have any water to drink and even pushed me away when I tried to give her milk. I really do think she is teething aswell as suffering from this ear infection. She just doesn't act as though she's in any pain at all. She's not really eating and is sleeping for England, but when she's awake you wouldn't know she's poorly as she's her usual smiley self, a little bit clingy, yes, but does not seem like she's in pain at all.

I tried her with a little pasta bolognaise around 7pm, again she didn't want it :-(. Mike took her up for her bath then I went up for cuddles and milk (she's had lots of cuddles today if nothing else xxx) she was a little unsettled, but after a top up of milk, snuggled down into bed and went to sleep. Xxxx
