First Light

Better large

It's great that it's now getting light early enough in the morning to get out for a run on the moor before work. I didn't intend to do that today but I woke up really early, well before the alarm that was already set pretty early! It was foggy outside so rather than cycle in through the greyness I tried to get my exercise in the sun. I thought I was going to miss out, but just as I neared the ridge line I got a glimpse of some brightness and I was soon running under clear blue skies. This shot was taken as the first shafts of light penetrated the fog.

Since then it's been a long drag of a day, getting ready for a presentation on Friday. It's coming together. My brain has stopped working now so just posting this from the office before getting the train home. It's going to be another late dinner!
