As the physical therapy is on the grounds of the university I thought I might show you today the Quad, lined by the double row of big Cottonwood trees. At the bottom end you see a two story building with four pillars in front of the big oak entrance doors.
Above this entrance it says " Mackay School of Mines" and in front of the building there is a statue of a miner. The Mackay Family was rich and maybe the mining business made them rich. Have to research that. Above this old building you can see several stories of a more modern building that was build behind the old one.

This picture was taken through the quite dirty window of the alumni building which explains some of the small smudges in the sky.

I decided to post this picture in mono as the sky is so indecently blue in this picture that it looked "kitchy".
