Day 31: The wheels on the Turbo go...
The people on my street must think I'm mad. A beautiful night and I am out in my back garden churning away at the pedals, digging deep and generally making a lot of noise. When I say a lot, I mean a lot.
My turbo is getting on a bit and it makes a huge racket. It's so noisy that there is no way that I would put anyone else in my house or in the next door neighbours houses through it for an hour at a time. So out I go.
In some ways the noise can be motivational. The louder I can make it, the higher the pitch, the more power I must be putting through it. Tonight I was feeling good in parts and the noise was pushing me on. I had to stick to my plan at points and make sure that I was hitting my heart rate zones and not getting over excited. Ever session builds on the next, and I have a run tomorrow that I want to be ready for.
Play the long game.
More importantly. Campbell slept through the night for the 1st time last night. Seems like a big milestone.
