Hidden

Today I went for a wander around the cemetery in York. This is psrt of my family tree research.
It wasn't what I expected. I didn't find any relatives - I know they are there, so need to contact the trust that runs it for a list. I do know for a fact my great granny was buried there in a paupers grave.

I thought there would be neat rows of well manicured graves. It was the total opposite and so wild and overgrown. It was great and sad at the same time.

I have decided to use it as a place to practise some of my photography skills so you will see lots of shots of it in the future while I track down the family.

This grave is about to be engulfed by the ivy.
