Mother Sheep

In these days of Spring awakening, I was passing by a field of sheep and lambs and had to stop for some shots. Nothing evokes spring so much as a new born lamb frolicking on the field with a care of the present or worry about the future. I'll get a blip here.

Sure enough, there were plenty of lambs though few were frolicking. They all seemed a bit dozy - must have been the heat or just having a frolic break. I did get a few reasonable shots which were on the right side of cute.

One mother kept an eye on me throughout the process. So I caught her in profile.
