Ecological crisis and social work

Had a lovely walk in the nearby park with my OH and my wee granddaughter this morning. This afternoon had a good meeting with my PhD supervisors who are just brill. Had an interesting conversation about social works responsibilities in the prevention of ecological crisis and in the response to the victims of ecological crisis driven by capitalist regimes and cultural hegemony.
New learning for them and was nice to steer discussion into new grounds for all of us.
Now off for an early night as I try and shift the lurgy I brought back from France!
