71/365 - Triffid?

Megan's Tree Peony is plastered in blooms again this year. The buds like quite triffid like as they unfurl. I call it Megan's because the first time it flowered was just after Megan was born. I've got a series of photos of Megan as a newborn and in amongst them there's a load of photos of the magnificent bloom that these plants produce! Because of this it's also the only plant we brought with us when we moved from Cardiff.
