Start Stop button

Spent nearly 4 years pressing this thing on the BMW and I've only just had a thought...there was a similar "start button" on a Honda Civic I had just prior...

It occurs to me that I also had a "start button" on my first, original style Mini many....err....many years ago..
except it was on the floor, very nearly under the driver's seat..

Technology not moved on much then eh..? :-)
