The last time we were in Paris was before people had taken to attaching padlocks to this bridge as a sign of their undying love. Two friends have told me it's a must do, especially since we are in Paris on our 20th wedding anniversary. Heather said "you must do it, you must make it your photo of the day and I will cry."

So, for Heather, here it is. I liked the large rusty padlock which, with the shadow, is almost heart shaped. Are you crying now, you nutcase? That's why we love you!!!

And if you are wondering; no, we didn't add to the padlocks. I almost did, but then gave the money to an elderly man on crutches who was begging. We know we don't need to follow other people's expectations.
