Liquid spring
March Reflections
dark liquid limbs
languish bare
mirrored images
listening long silent
sap rivers waking
drowsy, lapping
dousing, drowning
icy river reflections
winter whispers
silenced as simmering
babbles bubbling
bring verdant spring
A dark brown March day, still warm, but drenched in dampness as our next storm moves in. Nothing much here predicted in the way of snow accumulation, but Northern New England will get a dumping, a boost for ski country I guess. The locals must be wishing for spring. A terrible drop in temperature during the early morning tomorrow will bring ice for us, scary driving conditions to say the least.
I'm loving my new Kindle Paperwhite. Time for another book and also time for a trip to the library to poke about there as well. The Light Between Oceans that I had long avoided was gut wrenching, but well worth the read.
For the Record,
This day came in warm but one can feel precipitation on the way.
All hands healthy
