Sight unseen

...at least for more weeks than we care to think about. Yes - rain! We almost got excited :) The fields may just have had enough moisture to make them half a shade greener though I douobt the rain we had would be enough to soak more than a few grains of soil deep hence the roots wouldn't get any respite. Maybe we'll get some more soon?

The rest of the day has been really good....

- assembly where some cream was thrown around in the name of pi day. How many decimal places can you recite pi to?! Our winner (about 40 dp) got to cream-pie the loser.....though the twist conjured up by the competitors (who combined to turn the tables on the announcer) was a surprise indeed!

- planning the GATE projects for the year 9's and 10's in the afternoon. Some great ideas which we hope will serve to keep the students connected to their learning and to their communities.

- very positive work appraisal with the big boss after work.

The only problem now is - I'm sooooo tired! Bed early methinks.
