Emergency Services Training?
Before I give an explanation for my picture, I need to tell all of you a big secret!! Hiehiehie!!
Today was the Birthday of one of our Blipsisters! She has reached a remarkable milestone today, and is from now on allowed to talk with us grown-ups!!
Happy Birthday Mariet, may god bless your life with love, peace, health and wealth!! And may our friendship last till the very end!! We enjoyed having lunch with you and K! LuvULots!
We hope this was an exercise for training!!
On our way to Rustenburg this morning we encountered a huge Police Road Block, or, that's what we thought it was. The whole road was shut for traffic, we had to take the Buffelspoort Onramp. Fortunately they did not charge us at the Tollgate, because we had to take the off ramp immediately again in order to drive through to the main road again!
Only when we started descending on the other side of the bridge did we realise it was not a Police Road Block, but a huge accident between two trucks and a passenger bus! We were quite upset, the one truck carried a whole load of Afrox (BOC Gasses) gas bottles, but then we saw all the Emergency vehicles, Ambulances, Fire Engines, Environmental control vehicles, some patients with red shirts and heavily bandaged heads, even a 'corpse' lying between the bus and the Chrome Carrier truck. (You can see her if you look at the ENLARGED)
Eisch, we only realised tonight, when I downloaded the pictures, that there were not even as much as a crack in one of the windscreens, no blood, no fuel or oil on the road, and we even noticed on returning back home late this afternoon, that there were no marks on the road!! I think we were caught out!!! No accident, just a very beautiful Emergency Drill!! Thank goodness!! ;-)
