She Who plants trees

The star magnolia she planted 30 years ago is now a massive tree in full blossom. She leaves tomorrow for a watercolor workshop in Mexico, and by the time she returns, the blooming will be over. I thought about posting a picture of the woman and her tree, but what moves me is the look in her eyes and the pink reflection of the blossoms in her glasses as she contemplates this evanescent wonder.
