Fortunately, this was only the secondary/spare giantmug purchased from the giant kitchen shop in York; the main twice-the-price-but-much-sturdier one was fortunately handy to have what remained of my tea transferred into it after the wee cracking noise and seeping of some of it onto the kitchen worktop.
