meltingly Glorious day

When it got nicely warm today with a 53º high (11ºC) . Lots of smiles from all of us in the neighbourhood who were out walking and being careful of the rising water in the streets as the ice is finally melting... spring is on its way!
And then within an hour this afternoon clouds came rushing in from the west and the blue sky disappeared under the old familiar grey. I heard on the news that a storm system will arrive by tonight with rain, sleet, hail and finally more snow.
Well, it sure was fun while it lasted.
