No Internet Connection!

It was working fine last night, but today, no connection.

Endless phone calls to virgin - 'you can choose your music while you're on hold - just press 1 for rock; 2 for indie (or something); 3 for something else; 4 for something else again; or if you prefer classical, just press 5'.

Not having folk as an option, I didn't press anything, assuming that classical would gently anaesthetise my wait, as the last option.

Two seconds later out blasted the blasted ROCK at a thousand decibels!

Oh to go back twenty years and speak to real live people on the other end of the phone.
