LONELY TREE

This was a difficult call for me today. We had been shooting some wildlife on the wetlands you see here but, as we were walking back to the car, this lonely tree caught my eye. So, it was out with the tripod this time, set up and composed the picture, polarising filter on to bring out the white wispy cloud against the deep blue sky, and bingo, this is the result. Whilst editing, it was a difficult choice between this one and a pair of courting geese. We had a consensus of opinion in the household and, as you can see, this is the winner! As always, large is best.
