Walter !!

I met Sandra today who is one of the foster carers for the dogs at MT rescue centre and although she is not actually fostering Walter she was walking him today as his regular foster owner was at a very important hospital appointment ... At first little Walter was overwhelmed and literally wet himself but slowly he started to realise the brilliant pack of dogs he was walking with and began to move away from us and following Jerry and Billy .. Then after about 40 minutes he really got into it and threw himself into a filthy pond with Sandra's pooches and then Sadie and even Jerry joined in !!! I had a lump in my throat .. I love this little dog and if I had been able to I would have adopted him but Mr W says 3 dogs and 3 cats is enough ... However I think he has a home to go to as an application locally has been made for him so fingers crossed ... They will have their work cut out as he needs lots of gentle reassurance as we all think he has been knocked about,he does cower quite a bit when back on the lead ... Isn't he gorgeous though he loves cuddles and Eve kept hugging him and even had him all soggy on her lap when we dropped him back at his house ...
Eve is back to school tomorrow she is much better and her headache has gone .. I really do think they are going to be hormonal headaches like mine :-(( men are so lucky to be spared this !! It makes me want to bash all the men in the head every month so they can join in ... I am good at sharing ....
