Atlantis

Today (or now yesterday as I type this) I:

- did a normal day at work
- went out to Wafi for a meal as G&I needed to kill some time waiting to meet up with a friend of SweetArt from Hong Kong;
As it was Tuesday night, we
- popped into Carter's for a free glass of wine; then
- headed out to The Atlantis on the Palm as Roberto had finished all his meetings and could meet us!

We had a great 40 minutes or so chatting; then being a week night had to leave but not before taking one or two(!) pictures of the glass feature in the hotel's reception. This is called the Chihuly Sculpture and more information can be found here. Please do look as it gives a sense of the whole thing. The Atlantis also has a rather large Aquarium which G wanted to see so we walked there to take a few(!) more pictures. I shall link to it when she posts her journal tomorrow. The only reason we left is because the card on her camera got full!

So; it is very late and I have to be at work tomorrow; I shall catch up with you during my lunch hour. :))
