Waverley patterns

Today's been exceptionally busy. A topical question for our Minister saw my team leader and I having to shelve everything else and write and collate a huge amount of briefing in double quick time - and I think I even saw Roseannasnp doing a sterling job of keeping our Minister primed with the right briefing in Parliament!

Have had news about Mum too this afternoon - she's off for a couple of replacement heart valves and bypass in the near future, probably within the week. She'll have to stay in hospital until then and will be transferred from Durham to Middlesbrough for the op. I'll be heading back down before the op - assuming they give enough warning!
