Glabrous

Had an appointment at the hospital this afternoon for a pre-assesment. Getting things in order ready for my operation on Saturday. Gall bladder is coming out then. All went smoothly and I'm pleased to report my blood pressure was fine and my heart tracing was normal.

As I had to change buses in Gateshead on the way home I stopped off there and did a bit of shopping. Got some fruit in Tesco and a pair of shoes for me and also a pair for Neil. Hope he likes them. Just ordinary black smart shoes for him to wear at work.

Today I am posting my 1000th blip and decided to combine it with the Forum Challenge. Today's word is Glabrous meaning free from hair or down; smooth - chiefly of the skin or a leaf. Well I was unable to find a bald head to blip so it was out into the garden to find some smooth leaves. I actually missed my bus to the hospital as I was faffing about with leaves and bits of paper.

So 1,000 blips. I've got the blip bug good and proper and can't shake it off. I love seeing the photos posted by my blip friends and reading about your lives. I tend to use blip as a bit of an online diary and its great to be able to look back and see what I was doing on a certain day.
