HMS Warrior

We spent yesterday evening in a brewpub in Portsmouth; beer brewed on the premises, good food and a great atmosphere for a Monday night as it was right in the student district and very busy. After a good night's sleep we went back to the Naval Dockyard this morning and went round HMS Warrior, the first iron built warship in the Navy. A friend had told me that it was well worth seeing and he was right; it was much better than I expected, beautifully restored and fascinating. Now back home; it's been a good weekend away.
