My first blipmeet!

It's been a very busy, but great day.

I finished baking and decorated the wedding cake till I just about had enough! I had to leave because I needed to get to town to welcome Mr & Mrs CBL to Hong Kong!!!

I left the cake with just the rosettes to finish off when I got back.

It was lovely to meet the very cool, calm and collected CBL and I was delighted to find out that Mrs CBL likes the colour pink. She had a pink phone and a pink case and now a new pink bag to add to her collection! My gift to her.

Here we are at the Peninsula for a rather late afternoon tea. They very graciously accommodated us even though we were 10 minutes past the tea time. What lovely people. Really enjoyed getting acquainted with the Scots and making new 'friends'!!!

We then headed to the Avenue of Stars to see the Symphony of Lights, despite the slight drizzle. Hong Kong's skyline wasn't looking as lovely as it usually does, some tall buildings were lost in the clouds :( Loved sharing this 'must see' attraction with them.

Back home to finish off the cake, which I shall blip tomorrow before it gets collected.
