NOW IT'S SPRING! 2

I had a teaching session with CPNs and other mental health workers this morning. Later, as I met them in the car park they told me they planned to spend time noticing ladybirds emerging from hibernation. My work here is not wasted.

The sudden warmth and sunshine is bewitching. I have popped indoors for a moment to cool off. No rest for these little ones, however. Check out the huge pollen basket on it's leg. I learned today that some bees are more efficient than others at packing their pollen baskets. I'm not sure why, but this makes me really curious. Did they sleep through pollen basket construction class?

A bit more sun-bathing then I am off to clean the greenhouse.
