Dove tales...

I love the coo of the ring-necked doves that are so abundant here. That slight "whoop" at the beginning... And they are such elegant birds, so much more so than their loutish pigeon cousins!

I managed to grab various blip-possible shots of them perched on our surrounding rooftops, but I liked the simplicity of this one - kind of pure, like the bird!
