Bannockburn Central Otago

Belinda and I drove over the crown range to Queenstown this morning and then on to Arrowtown where we had a delicious lunch in quite a wacky cafe, our table had a leg of old books!
The next stop was to get some tickets at the ticketek.
A quick drive through Queenstown and back towards home again this time going through the Kawarau gorge.
A side trip took us to Bannockburn where we walked up to Stewart Town where I took this image looking out over the vineyard below, what a contrast of green and dry land.
I had such a lovely, sunny day.
