Which direction

Tonight we had our last 5k series run and walk at Caroline Bay it being a handicapped race. A great turnout and everyone was given a marshmallow Easter egg at the finish. This weather vein is pointing west. This is on the roof of Sopheeze on the Bay, a coffee lounge and hall. I would think the tower is a vent and has a copper top. Yesterday when working on a broken water main, the Police approached us and were looking for a man who had wandered off. The gentleman suffers from Alzheimer's and had been missing at this stage for over 2 hours. The Police were looking close to his home and had an antenor and tracking system specifically for these types of people ( they have an electronic pendant that sends of a signal and can be traced for up to 2km. As I was heading to another job, like the weather vein I found the gentleman in a completely opposite direction and a long way from home, a little confused but other wise fine. My good deed for the day
