Friday fun

On Friday I was really lucky to be able to spend the day working and yet still spend some time with some amazing people.
As I dropped Chris's lunch he showed me round the lab that he was working in. It was really exciting, both to see what he's doing and to be back in a lab. I haven't set foot in one since school! They have the same kind of vibe though.
I was so thankful to be able to sit outside with Em to have lunch- I love how sunny it has been!
As the working day kind of drew to a close Will and I went for a walk and to get coffee to wake ourselves up. As we came up to the top floor of the library to start working again we bumped in to Eleanor. We proceeded to have the most amusing conversation for quite a while- work did not happen on schedule! When I got back to my desk I discovered that El had left me a little note and some chocolate, it was so lovely!
All in all a pretty productive and happy day. I went to a house party in the evening which was fun but more exciting than all of this was the fact that I made friends with a cat afterwards. happy days.
