Descent through the Meldons
Taken on my Sunday morning bike ride, this is just one of many great views. On the left is White Meldon, easily identifiable as it is darker than Black Meldon, and its on the left as you descend through the narrow gap created by the Meldon Burn. (Burn is the Scots word for stream)
Today I have to pedal downhill as there is a strong breeze, so I take time out to stop, appraise the view and take a shot. In the gap you can just about make out some of the Border Hills that line the course of the River Tweed. Well the fat you can't really see them means its about to rain, so I'm heading home.
