South Queensferry

The area of Queensferry originally provided a good crossing place of the Forth River. In the 1300s the town was a burgh of Dunfermline Abbey but it became a Royal Burgh in 1636 this is when it became known as South Queensferry. It still has the original buildings and narrow cobbled streets., am sure the architectures at the time did not envisage these streets being used for cars,motorbikes and vans.
