Front door philosophy

Apparently, the colour of your front door says a lot about you.

If you paint your door red; the colour of passion, you're saying that the inhabitants are full of love, energy and excitement.

Blue symbolises a place of refuge and safety, the owners see their home as a sanctuary from the real world.

Black is a statement of power and strength. "This is a serious home populated with people of authority and substance."

People living behind a green door are tranquil, peace-loving sorts who live in a stable and healthy home.

And (according to the study I just read) a light brown door signifies warmth and hospitality, while dark brown sends signals of isolation and a desire for privacy!
