Deer, Deer

Went for a drive to Glen Isla this afternoon and stopped off at Peel Farm for coffee and cake en route . Took a very muddy walk up to the Deer Park there, but it's hard to get a good shot of the animals as there's such a slope in the enclosure. If you get too near, they tend to run away down the hill:-) They were looking a bit scruffy, as they lose their thick winter coats.

It was a toss up between this one and a shot of the chickens there sunning themselves in the company of the resident peahen, who doesn't seem to know she's not a chicken!

Much warmer here this afternoon than of late, although the day started with a heavy frost. Seems to have been the opposite way round further south:-) Hope it's nice for all of us tomorrow!
