On Standby

I barely left the house today...well it was the day after yesterday morning's night shift finish after which I didn't go to bed so I was quite tired when I eventually went to bed last night I slept really long and didn't wake up until half past nine this morning...

So I spent this afternoon watching the Arsenal Everton quarter final -that I couldn't get a ticket for- hoping we could make it back to Wembley...but unfortunately it wasn't to be.

So tonight was Laura's first on call session, with all the mod cons, a pager and a brick mobile phone. Typically she got a call out just as I finished cooking, so I got to eat freshly cooked food whilst Laura had to wait over an hour for it.
