Our Local Posto

The beach fronts of Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon are marked out by Posto (literally 'posts'), from 1 up to at least 14. Posto 6 at the far end of Copacabana has traditionally been regarded as the most exclusive part to the live in. We are at Posto 4, and are biased towards it and its local block/s. In truth, all postos have their charm, interest and style. They are marked by lifeguard stations which have public loos below.

Now having our last lunch before heading to the airport. We have already decided we will not change the flight at the last moment. All good things must come to an end!

We managed to pack easily, picked up some photographic backdrop material kindly purchased for us by briocarioca, and got some additional keys made for the studio. Then it was down to the front to buy some key rings, a choppe taken on some smart reclining chairs in one of the new kiosks, and La Maison for some food.
